Fundraising Team: What a start!!!

Hi there, Topaz Family!
I am staging a Topaz Blog takeover, to share the latest fundraising updates with you all!
Firstly and super excitingly:

The Easter Hamper Raffle has been a HUGE success. Thanks to the generosity of the whole school, we received enough eggs to create 4 individual hampers!
The winning tickets are as follows
1st Prize - 398 - Louise Burgess
2nd Prize - 280 - Alex Tuesday Tap
3rd Prize - 44 - Joan (Amelie Snowdon)
4th Prize - 116 - Katie Cross Adult Tap
Congratulations to all of the lucky winners, and thank you to everybody who donated eggs, or bought tickets, or BOTH!! This event was the first of many activities to raise funds to subsidise the families who are taking part in the Disneyland Paris performance in August 2025. Our aim is to raise the equivalent of £50 per dancer, but if we achieve more that will be outstanding! All monies will be kept within the Disney experience to add further magical memories where we can!
The total raised by this one raffle alone, is a MASSIVE

So, what next for the Fundraising campaign??
Currently we have a weekly Bonus Ball competition - £2 per week, funds split 50/50 between winner and the fundraising pot, prize rollover if no winner, and the winner will be the Bonus Ball drawn by the Lotto Saturday standard draw.
On 7th - 10th April, from 2-4pm each day, the Coffee Vault Café opposite Topaz will be splitting their sales income 50/50 with the fundraising campaign! We are so grateful for this generous contribution - and we want to encourage as many of you as possible to pop in there for a drink an/or cake one afternoon - it will give you a school holidays activity to do and it will bring benefits to both the Coffee Vault and our fundraising! Later in April, we have a second raffle - the Mega Making Memories raffle - this one being full of prizes donated by the local community! I don't want to give too much away, but there are currently 20 prizes available, and we have had further prizes pledged to us!!! This will be drawn during the interval of the Mini Show on 10th May 2025! and lastly, we are running a refreshment kiosk at the Mini Shows in May. We would welcome donations of disposable cups, serviettes etc (all recyclable whenever possible), drinks (tea bags, coffee, cup drinks, milk for the hot drinks etc) and snacks (a box of sweets, chocolates, crisps, healthy snacks etc), we would also gratefully receive offers of help for preparing the stall, transporting the items and actually selling at the kiosk at one or both shows!!!
Thanks for getting us off to such an amazing start; with the community around us we know we can achieve our goal or even more!!!
